Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using cuvr, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this service.

Description of Service

cuvr is a cover letter building platform that allows users to create, store, and manage cover letters using reusable sections. We offer both free and paid subscription plans with varying features and limits.

Account Terms

You must be at least 13 years old to use this service.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account.

Subscriptions and Payments

Some features of our service require a paid subscription. By subscribing to a paid plan:

You agree to pay all fees associated with your chosen plan.
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis depending on your selected billing cycle.
Your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel before the renewal date.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your access to paid features will continue until the end of your current billing period.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days' notice.
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us if you believe you are entitled to a refund.

Free Trial

We may offer free trials for paid subscription plans. At the end of the free trial period, you will be automatically charged the applicable subscription fee unless you cancel before the trial ends. We reserve the right to modify or terminate free trial offers at any time without notice.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the service to:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Harass, abuse, or harm another person
Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
Create accounts using automation or false pretenses

Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you create using our service, including your cover letters and sections. By using our service:

You grant us a limited license to store, display, and process your content solely to provide the service to you.
You are responsible for the content you create and must have the rights to use any information included in your cover letters.
We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for any purpose other than providing the service.

Intellectual Property

The service, including its original content (excluding user content), features, and functionality, is owned by cuvr and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used without our prior written consent.

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of our service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service (or any part thereof) at any time with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, cuvr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless cuvr and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which cuvr operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
